Unit Stills: Speakeasy.

I was approached to assist on a low-budget show pilot filming in Miami on the G&E team as a Swing. This was an 8 day shoot with a very hectic schedule. With the low budget, I pitched myself to assist with the stills to accompany the promotion of the show pilot. What I captured are some of my favorite images I have ever had the opportunity to shoot. When I read the script, I was immediately able to understand the overall tone and pacing of the show. I knew it would be very “Miami” which is what inspired the grade. But the grade was a result of me hovering over the directors monitor and then editing my images to match the grade utilized by the DP. I was super excited when the on-site editor told me he thought that I had somehow gotten a hold of the actual LUT they were using on the show..
